Bidding Rules that will Help you Win your Auctions
These are rules for bidding in penny auctions. This is one of the most requested bit of information I get and these are the exact rules that I follow.
1. Always remember that the item
your dieing to win will be auctioned off again at a later time. If the
auction isn't going in a direction you want then just wait!!!
2. Be willing to lose an auction with out ever placing a bid!!
3. Stay out of bidding wars you are there to win not to see who has the most bids!
4. Last second bids can get you into an auction but wont win an auction!
5. Place well thought out bids not emotional bids!
6. Always research an item before bidding on it!
7. Watch an auction for at least 5 min before jumping in!!
8. Always bid from the items page never the main page!
9. Only bid on one item at a time Be prepared to spend time on an auction don't bid if you know you have to leave in the next five min.
10. If you don't really want it don't bid on it!!
11. Never place a random bid each 1 should count!!
12. Know whether or not you will be using the Buy It Now feature before you start bidding.
13. Always set a bid limit and never go over it......EVER!!!
14. Always set a price limit and never go over it!!!
15. Don't bid to win unless you have the money to lose!!!
16. Never Bid against power bidders no mater how close you think there are to giving up!!!
17. Never underestimate the stubbornness of a newbie .... Beware the "Has never won"
18. Remember your bids are effecting the auction and how others will bid!!!
19. Always watch confusion points - the are the bread and butter of winning.
20. Beware the penny auction addiction - its fun but it is not your life.
21. If you placed more than one bid to win you can still make your strategy better.
22. Know you competition if you cant predict who will bid next you need to sit and watch a little longer before jumping in!!!
23. If your watching an auction
that your planning on jumping into then sit on your hands and watch do
not go look at other auctions!!
24. You can win with one bid or lose with a hundred a large bid bank is useless if you don't use your head.
25. Everyone loses but it is up to you on how much you lose- Bid responsible!!!!
