I thought long and hard about what some of the most important Quibids Tips and dicided to list them out here in this post. remember to look at are older post for even more tips and tricks for Quibids.

TIP 1
Page Refreshing - Refresh the main auction page (were you see all the auctions) to find low activity auctions.

TIP 2
First Auction - You will notice that the first auction posted on the site almost always ends shortly after joining you should always consider bidding on these items for an easy win.

TIP 3
Log in and wait - I can not stress this enough if you are not going for an auction that is listed in the first 2 panels as discuses in tip number 2 you need to follow this rule. Find all the auctions your interested in and add them to you auction watch list and then wait. Open a second browser and sign in to Quibids and look only at the main auction page. Refresh this page every 20 minutes until the auctions that are still left of your auction watch list are no longer listed on the main auction page. This indicates that Quibids is no longer pushing new bidders to that auction which will dramatically increase your chances of winning the item since there is a drop in competition. It is important to note that this tip does not work for low retail items.

TIP 4
Watch before you bid - Always watch an auction from its page (It should be the only auction on the page) for at least 5 minuets with out placing any bids. This is so you can watch who is bidding and how they are bidding. This way you don't accidentally jump in the middle of a bid war. Keep an eye out for how many last second bidders there are and how many power bidders are going crazy.

Use Bidding Software - Yes if your going to be a pro then you need the best bidding software on the market Bidfellow. Bidfellow will keep track of every bid placed and show the totals of each player along with other extremely valuable information about the auction. Last second Bids don't win - A lot of people give out the tip to bid at the last second and wile last second bids have a purpose you should never resign your self to waiting to the last second in order to win an auction. The person who wins bids at the 10 sec mark. Last second bids are for extending an auction making it last longer. It is also a bait bid to get more people to jump into the auction so be warned stay away from last second bids unless you are using them strategically.

Look up the average sale price of the item. The best place to do this is at QuibidsReport.com. They collect information on every single auction and break it down so that you have the most up to date information available for any item you want to win.

TIP 8
Make a budget - Decide exactly how many bids you are willing to use before going into an auction. This is of the up most importance if you want to keep your bid bank and your wallet happy. Be responsible and create a plan

TIP 9
Use the Buy it Now Feature - Wow if you ignore all the tips so far please please take advantage of this one. The buy it now feature is your personal safety net. As long as you are not using referral bids then every bid you placed during an the auction will be discounted towards your purchase price. Meaning if you blow 60 dollars worth of bids for an 80 dollar item you can use the buy it now feature to buy it for the remaining 20 dollars. Be warned the buy it now feature is only good for 24 hrs after the auction ends. This means you wont wast any money on lost bids!!! Always plan to use the buy it now feature if you don't win turns Quibids from an auction into the funnest way to shop.

TIP 10
Wile these tips are meant for advanced users if your new to Quibids please learn how penny auctions work before placing any bids. Quibids is not a gambling site and should not be treated as such. If you do you will lose.

Be aware of groups - I don't mean people that are bidding together but that Quibids breaks people into groups. At the beginning everyone starts out in a beginner group where it is very easy to win. Next you are put into 1 of 2 main groups these groups are broken up by people that have referral bids and people that do not. If you use referral bids Quibids will leave the auctions up longer so that more people will join and bid on them meaning the general ending price will be higher. These two main groups are broken down into even smaller groups based off of regions. Regions just effect what items and the frequency they get listed on Quibids. Having only purchased bids puts you in auctions that have better chances of winning.
